Just as the magi carefully chose symbolic gifts to bestow, I’ve selected gemstones rich in meaning for my Magi and Wisdom stack rings earrings, necklaces and bracelets. The gorgeous gemstones, colored sapphires, white and colored diamonds, and emeralds—are all believed to have magic powers of their own. I can’t help but believe in something magical and symbolic…so I use a glittering array of small, striking stones to make a grand visual impact, and to provide the wearer with, beauty, mysterious power and wisdom.
Sapphires come in a rainbow of spectacular colors, and are said to open up the heart to greater awareness. The Buddhists believe that the sapphire is a symbol for spiritual enlightenment, and the ancient Greeks wore sapphires to assist them in seeing the future. I like to imagine that these mystifying gems bring clarity and understanding. These days, diamonds are considered “a girl’s best friend,” yet these gems aren’t just about glitz and glamour; for centuries, diamonds have been worn to grant strength and courage. In fact, the word “diamond” comes from the Greek, meaning “unconquerable, hardest steeland indestructible.” Of course, diamonds glitter in engagement rings as a symbol for love and fidelity. I like to think of them as bringing strength, too. Emeralds (one of my favs) have adorned women for ages, bestowing dazzle and symbolic power. In ancient Egypt, it is said that Isis wore a green emerald in her headpiece that could grant fertility. The green of this gem is also said to bring good luck in money and business (pretty, pretty please), some Kelly Green Luck is welcomed… Some also use emeralds to heal the heart (it is also said that the emerald is most powerful during a full moon). The colorful glitter of gemstones and the prisms of diamonds in my jewelry will surely be responsible for bringing good fortune to the wearer. Who doesn’t need a little bit of enlightenment, strength, and good luck? Magic is in us, and all around us, after all…

As this new collection is hot off the press-I am finding that the one piece of jewelry from it that I seem to wear every day, is one of my Wisdom Wand pendants-then I find on some days, if I feel as if I need some extra wisdom, I put on 2 or even three, or…. I typically possess some sort of brilliant foresight or intention of what a finished piece is, and how I would wear it, yet I am never quite certain about how it will feel on. This piece surprised me, as it has become my every day, and all-time favorite piece of jewelry that I have created thus far. I don’t know, if it’s just the sheer simple elegance of the elongated form, or it’s unfussiness with just the right amount of sparkle, or that it just goes with everything. Also, the bail allows for me to easily put it onto almost any chain for variety. And of course, when one professes something as profound and symbolic as a “wisdom wand pendant”, you might start to believe that it will help you with a bit a wisdom-hey, I need all the help I can get. Posting pictures of how I have been wearing them soon. By Katrina Kelly More here

One of my favorites of favorites, Catherine the Great: Glorified in coronation wisdom and layers of love rings as crowns,
Ruby, Pink Tourmaline, Diamond Lotus earrings, and Wisdom Ring as a Bracelet.

Catherine the Great: The Russian ruler led what is referred to as the golden age of the Russian empire.During her rule, Russia expanded its borders and its mind. Catherine the Great was a great believer in the power of learning to better the lives of her people and promoted education from a young age, especially for young girls. She gave new life to Russia, making it a great European power in every sense of the word.

Queen of Sheba, the witty queen is donning the KK Wisdom Wand pendant,
Sheba Earrings with Diamonds & Morganites, and Temple & Spire Golden Bangles.

Queen of Sheba: The Biblical monarch of an ancient kingdom (Saba?) is said to have heard of King Solomon’s wisdom and traveled to meet him with great gifts of gold, jewels, and spices. Once she met him, she tested him with questions, matching his wisdom with her wit.
This powerful woman is remembered for her great wealth, and her beauty is enhanced by the richness of gold and riches and a possible heir.

Garnet brings to those born in January friendship, loyalty and sincerity. The gemstone is said to have the power to ensure good health and protect its owner during travels. If you are wearing a piece of garnet jewelry then you are wearing a metaphysically powerful and physically warming stone. According to ancient Egyptians and Greeks, as well as New Age and Crystal healers, the garnet has many of the highest healing qualities. They are known to promote sensuality, passion and fertility. These are the jewels you will want to wear most often with your soul mate and special friends to enhance your feelings of intimacy and kinship. In ancient civilizations garnets were exchanged as gifts between friends to demonstrate their affection for each other and to insure that they meet again. So Don these gorgeous stones to promote healing, strength protection and passion.
