A designer meeting Tory Burch for the first time can’t help but be a bit in awe and inspired. I attended a mentoring event last night at Tory’s headquarters. It was hosted by the Tory Burch Foundation and ACCION USA. About a hundred women were nestled in a livid orange Tory Burchesque room. The rooms perimeter was lavished with a stunning array of Tory Burch Clothes and accessories (which made it just a bit hard to focus sometimes) . This energetic scene consisted of about 10 tables, with 6-9 women entrepreneurs at each table. We had an amazing opportunity to have open discussions with an variety of accomplished industry leaders, to gain insightful knowledge, financing options, and success pointers.  The most memorable personality to me, was meeting Alina Cho, a national correspondent from CNN. She was well spoken, gracious, knowledgeable, and, has brilliant fashion sense. Many accolades to everyone evolved in this event.
